TEN YEARS PASS SINCE RELEASE OF FIRST ISSUE OF NEWSPAPER "NOEV KOVCHEG"

YEREVAN, AUGUST 20, NOYAN TAPAN. The independent information and
analytical international Armenian monthly "Noev Kovcheg" (published in
Russian) recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. During this period
the newspaper has been published with the informational support of
the Noyan Tapan information and analytical center.
The main objective of the newspaper is to throw bridges between
Armenia and Russia, as well as other CIS and Baltic countries. It
aims to bring news to the large Armenian Diaspora, to tell truthfully
and timely about life in Homeland, about developments in Georgia,
Azerbaijan and other neighboring countries. Among its constant authors
are political scientists, diplomats, and cultural workers. The widest
scope of opinions is presented on pages of "Noev Kovcheg".
The newspaper was at first published in Kishinev, while since 2000 –
in Moscow. All this time Grigory Anisonian has been its editor and
publisher.
"Noev Kovcheg" currently has a circulation of 83 thousand. The paper
is read in 85 cities of the CIS, Baltic states and "far abroad",
the monthly audience of its website ()
makes 110 thousand readers.
