*K*udos once again to Joe Fitzgerald ("Watertown remembers what the ADL
chooses to forget," Aug. 20). He exposes the cowardice and the hypocrisy
shown by the Anti-Defamation League.

What happened to the poor Armenians at the hands of the Turks was
absolutely appalling. The same can be said for what happened to the poor
Jews at the hands of the Nazis. Both were terrible moments in history, and
they should both be considered infamous acts of genocide. Both incidents
should be taught in our schools – not just one. Both incidents should have
memorials in Boston – not just one.

The ADL will only protect the interests that it feels are important. If
someone were to deny that the Holocaust ever existed, I am sure they would
hear from the phonies at the ADL.
