A change about genocide

Two major Jewish lobbies in the USA who kept saying "Armenian
genocide did not happen" changed their mind. Ankara is on the alert.

Anti-Defamation League, one of the major Jewish organizations in the
USA announced that they recognize the Armenian genocide. The chairman
of the organization, Foxman, who did not utter the word ‘genocide’ up
to now said: "due to the worries about the Jewish society union, we
have re-evaluated. We have concluded that it was Armenian genocide."

Jewish lobby recognizes Armenian genocide

Two major Jewish lobbies in the USA who kept saying "Armenian
genocide did not happen" changed their mind. It is announced that:
"we have resolved that the activities against Armenians in 1915
correspond to genocide."

American Jewish Committee and Anti-Defamation League, among the
eminent Jewish groups in the USA, announced that they will recognize
the Armenian events in 1915 as genocide. It seems certain that the
Armenian Genocide bill will pass in the parliament as it already has
225 supporters in the parliament and as it will be brought up on the
agenda in September.

The events in the USA led to a crisis on the Ankara-Tel Aviv-
Washington line. Turkey cancelled the contract of the lobby company
in Washington.

The chairman of Anti-Defamation League, Abraham Foxman, stated:
"because of the latest debates and the worries about the union of the
Jewish society, we have reviewed the tragedy that Armenians have gone
through. After re-evaluation, we have seen that the activities
against Armenians in 1915 correspond to genocide."
