Armenian foreign minister is planned to meet NATO secretary-general
in Brussels
Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan will participate in the
meeting of foreign ministers of European New Neighborhood Policy
member-countries to be held in Brussels on September 3-4.
As REGNUM was told at press office of the Armenian foreign ministry,
during the meeting the foreign ministers of the 16 New Neighborhood
Policy member-countries will discuss issues regarding challenges
posed by liberalization of trade, energy security and climate change
within frameworks of cooperation under the policy.
During his Brussels visit, Vardan Oskanyan is expected to meet NATO
Secretary-General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer. The Armenian foreign
minister will be visiting Brussels under a personal invitation from
European Commissioner for Foreign Affairs Benita Ferrero-Waldner.
