Armenian street fair Sunday

Immerse yourself in Armenian food, drink, music and dancing at
Sunday’s Taste of Armenia street fair in front of St. James Armenian
Church, 816 Clark St., Evanston. Enjoy charcoal-grilled kebabs,
homemade Armenian pastries, fresh salads and stuffed grape leaves
made with fresh picked leaves.

Entertainment includes the Hamazkayin Sardarabad dance ensemble
performing traditional folk dances, renowned Armenian musician Gor
Mkhitarian, the Hye Vibes folk music ensemble, Armenian handicrafts,
and a presentation of historic photographs.

The festival runs from noon to 7 p.m. with free parking in the Maple
