of US Congress to support a resolution on the Armenian genocide
Wilmington’s City Council of Delaware state voted unanimously to
apply to a member of House of Representatives of US Congress Michael
Castle with a call to support adoption of a draft resolution on the
Armenian genocide. As Arminfo was informed from the Armenian National
Committee of America, the document was submitted by the chairman
of the City Council Samuel Prado and had been adopted unanimously
without any debates.
For her part, executive director of the eastern office of ANCA Karine
Birazyan expressed pleasure in connection with the efforts of the
chairman of the City Council Samuel Prado. She hopes that he will
continue making efforts in persuading congressman Michael Castle to
put signature under the resolution No 106 that recognizes Armenian
genocide in Ottoman Turkey.
