Vice President of Pan Armenian Games World Steering Committee Roland
Sharoyan is satisfied with organization of 4th Pan Armenian Games
that were over on August 26.

R. Sharoyan said at Hayatsk Discussion Club, Tuesday, that the 4th
Games exceeded all the previous ones by the number of participants
(about 3,000 people). Representatives of 38 new towns were involved in
the Games, including 27 remote and near foreign countries. R. Sharoyan
said in the 5th Pan Armenian Games scheduled for 2011, sportsmen
will compete in another 2-3 competitive sports besides the present
10. Thus, it maybe marathons, horseracing, beach volleyball as all
the members of the Steering Committee are for inclusion of these
competitive sports, Roland Sharoyan said. He also added that the
Games fully met the their slogan "Unification Through Sport."

As regards the lacks and omissions, R. Sharoyan said the organizers
were surprised that only 5 sportsmen arrived from Moscow. Some
delegations were without arbiters. In addition, some sport halls
proved not enough ready for such competitions. Asked about the target
use of the 80 million drams budget of the Games, R. Sharoyan said it
was the Steering Committee that was engaged in the financial issues.
