A meeting between Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan and the presidents
of the Minsk group is not scheduled during his stay in Brussels. Tigran
Balayan, of the ministry, informed panorama.am of this development.
"The parties already met in July, in Paris," Balayan noted.
Today Oskanyan will meet with the foreign ministers of the Czech
Republic, Cyprus, and Estonia. Tomorrow he will meet with the general
secretary of NATO.
We note that Oskanyan left for Brussels to particpate in the "Working
together to strengthen the politics of Europe’s neighbors" conference,
led by Benita Ferero-Valdner, responsible for issues relating with
the EU’s ties with neighboring countries. During the conference,
representatives from sixteen countries will take part in the "New
Neighbors" program.
During the conference, discussions will be dedicated to the
strengthening of the politics of Europe’s neighboring countries,
as well as the EU’s general relations with these countries.
