Prices Of Non-Food Commodities Fall By 0.5% In Armenia In August

PRICES OF NON-FOOD COMMODITIES FALL BY 0.5% IN ARMENIA IN AUGUST

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 3, NOYAN TAPAN. A 1.7% fall in gasoline prices had
some impact on the 0.5% price fall in Armenia’s non-food commodity
market in August on July 2007. Price of diesel fuel fell by 0.4%
in the indicated period.

According to the RA National Statistical Service, there was 0/3-1.6%
fall in prices of medicines, cultural goods, detergents in Armenia in
August on July 2007. Prices of clothes, textiles, cosmetics, jewelry,
stationery, fuel, furniture, domestic electric appliances, footwear,
horticultural goods grew by 0.1-0.8% in the indicated period. Prices in
the other commodity groups under observation remained at the previous
month’s level.
