PRIME MINISTER: FINANCING TO INCREASE

Today Prime Minister Serge Sargsyan visited the Yerevan university
of architecture and construction, as informed by government press
services.
The prime minister became acquainted with the university and the
students’ new expectations, visited the renovated computer department,
and afterwards, with a group of the university’s governing bodies and
professors and the education minister, discussed issues relating to
the growth and development of the university. Presidents of the union
of architects and builders also participated.
The prime minister presented the politics adopted concerning the fields
of science and education, already integrated into the government’s
active programs, touching on the preparations of experts in professions
now in high demand, especially concentrating on issues concerning
the university of architecture.
Underlining the fact that construction plays an important part in our
economy, and that it is expanding year by year, the prime minister
emphasized the importance of good experts in the field, noting the
high demand for such experts.
The prime minister noted that each and every year the budget for
science and education is increasing, but as the demand in this field is
so high that positive results are required in order to reach positive
growth in our economy.
