Don’t get surprised if doctors discover echinococcus in your child’s
organism even though you have never kept a cat or a dog. Just remember
the place you have brought your child’s textbooks!
The subway near "Yeritasardakan" metro-station has turned into a real
book store where one can get any book he wants at a cheaper price.
The books are "scattered" on the ground. As it is nearly impossible
to fetch too many books every day, booksellers simply leave them in
the subway.
Obviously, it results in hygienic problems as vagrant dogs and cats
gather on the book piles at night.
Logically, books cannot be washed or cleaned.
On the other hand, "elitist" bookstores sell textbooks at high prices
and people cannot afford them.
Today, Armenia occupies the last "honorable" place in the region due
to its educational level whereas in 1995 the country was the first.
