ARMENIAN GOVERNMENT ALLOCATES MORE THAN 9.8 BILLION DRAMS FOR SOLUTION OF PROBLEMS IN 10 REGIONS

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 6, NOYAN TAPAN. In accordance with the decision
taken at the Setpember 6 sitting of the Armenian government, 9 bln
818 mln drams (about 29 mln USD) will be allocated for solution of
various problems in 10 marzes (regions), except Yerevan. The RA deputy
minister of territorial governance Vatche Terterian told reporters
after the sitting that the indicated sum will be spent on repairs of
housing, community and intercommunity roads, and schools. Besides, an
additional sum will be provided for cleaning riverbeds in marzes. It
is envisaged to complete the program in the next 2-3 months.
V. Terterian said that the issue of providing such a help to Yerevan
will be discussed soon.
