"ARMENTEL" STARTS PROVIDING NEW TARIFF PLAN "UNITED"

YEREVAN, September 7. /ARKA/. "ArmenTel" Telecommunications Company
started providing new tariff plan "United" for the prepaid system,
the Company’s Public Relations Department told ARKA.

Prepaid tariff plan "United" gives an opportunity to implement
outgoing calls to mobile and fix telephone number of "ArmenTel" in the
Republic of Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic for 49 drams/min
(15 cents).

"ArmenTel" Telecommunications Company is the monopolist landline
telephone network and one of the two mobile operators in Armenia.

The Russian company "VympelCom" (BeeLine brand) holds 100% of shares.

As of 2006, the company has 452ths mobile subscribers and 608.5ths
landline telephone subscribers.
