TOMS RIVER: The Ocean County Board of Chosen Freeholders will hold
the seventh annual Armenian flag-raising at 1 p.m. Sept. 21 at the
Administration Building at 101 Hooper Ave.

The flag-raising ceremony will mark the 16th anniversary of Armenian
Liberation, according to a prepared statement from the freeholders.

The Ocean County Sheriff’s Department Honor Guard will attend,
along with Dr. Joan Rivitz, state Civil Rights commissioner, and
representatives from the Armenian American Social Club of Ocean County.
