On September 11 Arshak Sadoyan, leader of the Alliance of National
Democrats, called the opposition leaders not to step up black PR
against one another. "I call the opposition figures to be appropriate
and avoid mutual denouncement," Sadoyan said, ARKA reported. In
commenting on the meetings of the opposition leaders initiated by
Paruir Hairikyan, he said the meetings are a waste of time. "Instead
of solving abstract issues we must solve definite problems," Sadoyan
said. According to him, it is necessary to create a joint mechanism
to control the election.

He said the opposition may come together before the presidential
election due to financial problems. Arshak Sadoyan also said in
the upcoming election he will support the leader of the National
Democratic Union Vazgen Manukyan. "Vazgen Manukyan may be the main
opposition candidate," said the leader of the National Democrats.
