Adress of the NKR Prime Minister Arayik Haroutyunian in the NKR NA

Honourable Speaker of the National Assembly, honourable colleagues.
First of all I want to express my appreciation to the NKR President
Bako Sahakian for the trust, that he nominated my candidature in the
post of the Prime Minister. I think, my political convictions and
civil characteristic have been taken into consideration and I can say
convincingly, that in case of deserving the consents of my candidature
by you, I’ll use my abilities for fulfiling this responsible mission
with success. I’m ready to prefer and use a workstyle, by which in
various range of courses a close work with the NKR National Assembly
will be given. I’m expecting your many-sided assistance during my
service. By a date foreseen by the Constitution, the program of the
Government’s activity will be presented you on the basis of which the
provisions of the president’s pre-election program will be. At the
same time, we shall take into account a number of problems set by our
society. The main directions of our activity will be agriculture,
health, social security, education, culture. The questions of
obedience to the law and protection of human rights will be in the
focus of everyday’s attention, we shall struggle against the
corruption, sponsorship and other public harms. We shall take clear
prenotes about the above-mentioned spheres and we shall represent the
National Assembly’s approval. Structural reforms will be realized in
the Government. The works of subdivisions of executive bodies will be
regulated. The preference will be given to the cadres, who are
tradetraining, honest, industrious. We shall strive for normalization
of the moral-psychological sphere in the public by our purposeful
work, to close the relations and mutual contacts with the most
different public layers. Rising of living standard of Artsakh people
will be not only official duty, but also a task of honour for the new
NKR Government. We shall bend all our efforts, that in coming future
we have socially safe and free society. We shall be ready to
collaborate with the NKR political and public powers, be in close
collaboration with NKR Defence Army. We shall establish close
relations with our intellegentsia and youth. In case of getting the
National Assembly’s consent and apponiting Prime Minister, I shall
leave the post of the chairman of "Azat Hayreniq" party as political
ethics demands. Finishing my speech, I want to assure again, that in
the post of the NKR Prime Minister I shall really promote a fervent
and purposeful activity. Thank you for attention.
