Close to 70-80% of Armenia’s trade is done with countries with
developed economies. These numbers were presented by minister of
trade and economic development, Nerses Yeritsyan, while meeting with
journalists today. According to the minister, special attention needs
to be placed on the quality of goods produced in Armenia, which would
allow an economic growth of 8-10%.
Turning to the future development of the Armenian economy, Yeritsyan
underlined the importance of the shaping of Armenia’s global image,
by way of integration into world economic markets. State and private
cooperation is needed for this to take place, needed also in the
field of information technologies.
