GEORGIAN, ARMENIAN PRESIDENTS MEET

Tbilisi, 16 September: The Georgian president’s press service has
released footage of a meeting held today in Ajaria between the
presidents of Georgia and Armenia, Mikheil Saakashvili and Robert
Kocharyan. The presidents met behind closed doors at the Boboqvati
residence.
Robert Kocharyan is visiting Georgia at the personal invitation of
his Georgian counterpart. No comments were made after the meeting.
According to behind-the-scenes information, the two discussed issues
of bilateral cooperation, the situation concerning ethnic Armenians
living in Georgia and regional security.
