4000 pigs have become the victims of african plague in
Armenia. According to Grisha Baghyan, Head of Food Safety and State
Veterinary Inspection, there is no tendency that the number of sick
pigs will reduce. The farms where the plague cases have been found
are in quarantine yet. Besides, it is prohibited to carry live pigs,
or food made of pork and forage from Tavush and Lori regions.
