President Robert Kocharyan Received The Chairman Of The World Armeni

PRESIDENT ROBERT KOCHARYAN RECEIVED THE CHAIRMAN OF THE WORLD ARMENIAN CONGRESS

President Robert Kocharyan received the delegation of the Chairman of
the World Armenian Congress and the Union of the Armenians of Russia
Ara Abrahamian, President’s Press Office reports.

Discussed were issues related to the educational, social and healthcare
programs implemented by the above-mentioned organizations in Armenia
and Artsakh.

Robert Kocharyan welcomed the regular activities of these structures
and noted that with each year the programs are becoming more diverse
in their content and geography.

In addition, the delegation discussed with the President of Armenia
issues of the Karabakh peace process and recognition of the Armenian
Genocide. The parties spoke also about the social and economic
conditions in Armenia.
