DELEGATION OF WAC AND UAR VISITS 4th SPECIAL RIFLE REGIMENT NAMED AFTER TAMANIAN DIVISION

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 16, NOYAN TAPAN. Within the framework of the Days
of the World Armenian Congress (WAC) and Union of Armenians in Russia
(UAR) being held in Armenia and Artsakh, members of delegations of WAC,
as well as Armenian communities of Russia, the Ukraine, Bulgaria,
and Georgia, on October 16, visited the 4th special rifle regiment
named after the 89th Armenian Tamanian division. They gave diplomas
to five servicemen of the regiment.

According to German Ananian, the Vice-Chairman of the Union of
Armenians in Russia, "the Union of Armenians in Russia is inspired
with consolidation around national, patriotic ideas, with seeing the
homeland protected." He said that their main goal is to consolidate
the Armenians of the whole world around these ideas.

The members of the delegation gave necessary equipment and a computer
to the 4th special rifle regiment named after the 89th Armenian
Tamanian division.
