KIRO MANOYAN IS CONVINCED THAT HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES WILL ADOPT RESOLUTION N 106
Noyan Tapan

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 17, NOYAN TAPAN. Resolution 106 on Armenian
Genocide will be adopted at the plenary sitting of U.S. House of
Representatives. Kiro Manoyan, a responsible person for political
issues of ARFD Bureau Hay Dat Office, gave assurance at the October
17 press conference. According to him, the fact that at present the
American administration is looking for alternative airports in Kuwait
and Saudi Arabia gives a ground for such a supposition, which means
that the White House has a real apprehension that the resolution will
be adopted, and Turkey will block the Incirlik airport.
According to K. Manoyan, the issue of the Genocide is a means to
keep alive the Armenian Cause and to present it in an understandable
language for international circles. According to him, the Armenian
people will not tolerate authorities, which will renounce their
demands to Turkey. "Armenia says that we do not set such an issue
today, but this does not mean that we will not set it tomorrow,"
K. Manoyan stated.
