of the additional vaccinations held in Armenia between October 1 and

the vaccinations were made among part of the population aged 6-27,
the total number of which makes 800845 in the republic.

by Gayane Sahakian, the coordinator of the RA National Supplementary
Immunization Campaign, the action can be considered as successful. She
mentioned that 53 people, in general, have been taken to hospital as
a result of the deterioration of health after the vaccinations. The
above-mentioned cases were recorded mainly among children aged
11-13, which, according to her, was conditioned by the fact that
those children were hungry or afraid. According to Gayane Sahakian,
similar cases recorded after the vaccination in other countries,
where additional vaccinations were made as well, has made 5-12%.
It was also mentioned that vaccinations are continuing, that is to
say, those, who have not been vaccinated for this or that reason,
or have changed their minds, can visit local polyclinics.
