YEREVAN, OCTOBER 22, NOYAN TAPAN. At the evening sitting on
October 22, the RA National Assembly passed 6 bills and legisltaive
packages discussed during the previous four-day session, including
the government’s bill on operative investigative activity (in
third reading and completely), to which the representatives of the
parliamentary opposition objected. The government had submitted
this bill to the National Assembly of the 2nd convocation, with its
discussion continuing by the National Assembly of the 3rd, then –
by National Assembly of the current convocation.

The adoption of the bill previously failed several times due to a
number of disputable provisions, which are particularly related to
the rights of control of phone conversations, Internet messages,
correspondence within the framework of the operative investigative
activity.

The pariament passed in first reading the bill on granting privileges
on tax and compulsory social insurance payments to water user
societies, as well as bills envisaging amendments and additions to
a number of laws and the RA Code on Administrative Infringements.
