PACE MONITORING COMMITTEE TO HOLD CONFERENCE ON FROZEN CONFLICTS IN GERMANY ON NOVEMBER 5-6

Monitoring Committee of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly
(PACE) will hold a conference on the frozen conflicts in Germany on
November 5-6, Azerbaijani embassy in Germany told APA.
Influential scientists and experts are expected to participate in
the conference. Representatives from Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan,
Armenia and other countries will also attend the conference.
Azerbaijani and Armenian Foreign Ministers Elmar Mammadyarov and
Vardan Oskanyan have been invited to the conference, but it is not
yet known whether they will participate in the event. The embassy
said that anyway a high-level delegation will represent Azerbaijan
in the conference. Over 50 members of the PACE Monitoring Committee
have also been invited to the conference.
The conflicts of Nagorno Karabakh, Abkhazia, South Ossetia and
Transdniestria will be debated in the three sessions on November 5.
Discussions are expected to be held after the speeches of international
experts about each conflict. The representatives of different countries
will express their position on the issues on November 6.
