LEVON TER-PETROSYAN WITHDRAWN HIS DETAINED ADHERENTS FROM POLICE DEPARTMENT

ArmInfo. All the detained activists from the opposition, accompanied
by the first President of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan, went out of
the Police building of Yerevan’s central prefecture t about 3:30 AM.
The ex-president abstained from any statements for his adherents
and the press representatives and returned to his residence. Leader
of the "Alternative" public-political movement, Editor-in-Chief
of the "Haykakan Zhamanak" newspaper Nikol Pashinyan, who got
out of detention, addressed about three hundred adherents of
the opposition. "We have multiply said that we shall support
L. Ter-Petrosyan’s candidacy at the forthcoming election.
Today, we should emphasize that he is not only a pretender to the
highest state position but also a comrade-in-arms", N. Pashinyan said.
To note, the top police officers gathered at the police department
as soon as the first president arrived there at 11:30 PM.
