THE ARMENIAN ASSEMBLY WILL CELEBRATE 35 YEARS OF ADVOCACY FOR ARMENIAN ISSUES AT THE NATIONAL GALA

The Armenian Assembly of America, together with members and supporters
from across the nation, will celebrate 35 years of advocacy and 30
years of the Terjenian-Thomas Assembly Internship Program at the
Assembly’s National Gala in Beverly Hills, CA, on November 2-3rd.
The Gala, which will be held at the Beverly Hilton, will include
honored guest Rakel Dink who will accept the Assembly’s Distinguished
Humanitarian Award on behalf of her late husband Hrant Dink. California
State Assemblyman Greg Aghazarian (R-Stockton) will serve as master
of ceremonies for the event.
The Assembly’s Gala Committee, led by Co-Chairs Al and Diane Cabraloff
and Paul and Sandra Kalemkiarian, has been instrumental in organizing
various events across the country and in California.
In addition to the Gala, on November 2nd Assembly intern alumni
and young professionals will gather for a cocktail reception in
celebration of the Terjenian-Thomas Assembly Internship Program,
at the famous Trader Vic’s Lounge in the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
The 2007 Gala Committee members also includes Elizabeth Agbabian,
Lily Ring Balian, Flora Dunaians, Sosy Hachigian, Richard Mushegain,
Cindy Norian, Michelle Shrikian, and Savey Tufenkian.
