NUCLEAR POWER PLANT TO RESUME WORK ON NOVEMBER 24

Planned renovation works of the nuclear power plant will end 45 days
after they started. Metsamor nuclear power plant will resume work
on November 24, Lusine Harutunyan, public relations officer at the
energy ministry, told Panorama.am correspondent. "Planned renovation
and reloading with fresh fuel are conducted each year. Now the works
are under way," Harutunyan said. She assured that after the works,
the plant with work on 375 mgwatt capacity.

In the words of Harutunyan renovation of the plant is conducted on
revenues generated from its work. This year, planned works started
one day ahead of the schedule, on October 11 due to fluctuation in
an energy line of 22 kilowatt capacity.
