ArmInfo. Over 1,000 Armenian families – refugees from Azerbaijan,
living in Yerevan, in temporary housing, will finally be enabled to
acquire their own flats, Head of the Migration Agency of RA Ministry of
Territorial Administration Gagik Yeganyan said at today’s parliamentary
hearings.

to provide the refugees with flats. G. Yeganyan emphasized that the

real estate.
To note, about 360,000 ethnic Armenians migrated to Armenia from
Azerbaijan in 1998-1992 in view of the events in Sumgait and Baku. Five
thousand refugees received citizenship in 2000, while today, they
number 80,000.
