gathered at Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi, outside the parliament
building, Paata Zakareishvili, a member of the Republican Party of
Georgia, told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter

The atmosphere is normal, police don’t interfere, he said.

"Our demands are absolutely constitutional. We urge pre-term
parliamentary elections and do not intend to resort to violence,"
he said.

Meanwhile, Director of the Caucasus Media Institute Alexander
Iskandaryan said revolution is not likely in Georgia.

October 17, five opposition parties signed a manifest on unification
which aims at overthrow of Saakashvili regime and establishment of

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
