LITHUANIA IS INTERESTED IN TRAINING OF ITS SERVICEMEN IN RA TERRITORY

ArmInfo. Lithuania is interested in training of its servicemen in
Armenia’s territory, Lithuanian National Defense Minister Juozas Olekas
said at today’s joint press-conference with RA DM Mikael Harutyunyan.
He said that the Lithuanian party wished for its servicemen to be
trained under mountainous conditions. This issue was discussed at
today’s negotiations of the Armenian and Lithuanian DMs. As J. Olekas
said, this is necessary for the Lithuanian servicemen for participation
in the operations in the countries with similar climate conditions.
To note, an agreement is already available between Armenia and
Lithuania on training of the Armenian servicemen in higher educational
establishments of Lithuania, in particular, in the Military Academy
in Vilnius and the College in Tartu.
