LITHUANIAN NATIONAL DEFENSE MINISTER ARRIVED IN ARMENIA

ArmInfo. Lithuanian National Defense Minister Juozas Olekas arrived
in Yerevan today with a three-day official visit.
As RA Defense Ministry’s spokesman, Colonel Seyran Shahsouvaryan told
ArmInfo, the Armenian and Lithuanian DMs will meet today, after which
a ceremony of signing of the military cooperation plan for 2008 will
be held. Meetings of Juozas Olekas with RA President Robert Kocharyan,
Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan, Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan and
Chairman of the Parliamentary Commission on defense, security and
internal affairs Artur Aghabekyan have been scheduled during the
visit. The Lithuanian DM will also visit the National Museum, the
Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex to the Armenian Genocide victims, the
Matenadaran Institute of Ancient Manuscripts, the Military Institute
after V. Sargsyan.
