According To Preliminary Forecasts, Winter Will Be Mild In Armenia

ACCORDING TO PRELIMINARY FORECASTS, WINTER WILL BE MILD IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 12, NOYAN TAPAN. Winter is forecast to be mild this
year in Armenia. As Noyan Tapan correspondent was informed by Zaruhi
Petrosian, the Head of the Hydrometeorological Unit of Haypethydromet,
average temperature close to the norm, a little higher than the norm
and precipitations less than the norm are forecast in December, as well
as in January and February. Nevertheless, precipitations will exceed
the norm in January in Lori, Tavush, and Syunik and in February in
Ararat valley and Aragatsotn foothills. It was mentioned that this is a
preliminary forecast, the justification degree of which is nearly 65%.
