ArmInfo. "The post of vice-speaker of Armenian National Assembly will
demand of me mobilization of all my strengths, in order to justify the
choice of the majority of deputies, who realize the necessity of women
in the country’s political field", the newly elected Vice-Speaker of
RA NA Arevik Petrosyan said in her talk with ArmInfo correspondent.
"I must become consistent in the solution of problems of women and
children, after all, uphold the honor of Armenian women at top level",
she said.
According to her, she intends to do her best with her activity at
the post to ensure the natural process of RA NA.
To recall, before being elected to the post of the vice-speaker
of RA NA, Arevik Petrosyan was Head of the Standing Committee for
Human Rights.
Prosperous Armenia faction already discussed the name of the candidate
for the Head of the mentioned committee-member of Prosperous Armenia
faction Mkhitar Mnatsakanyan. However, Mkhitar Mnatsakanyan refused to
comment on this matter in his talk with ArmInfo correspondent. "There
is many a slip between the cup and the lip", he said and added that
his candidature was surely discussed in the faction, but he will go
into details after being elected to the post.
