/PanARMENIAN.Net/ The political crisis in Georgia is going on and many
stories will be still invented about Russian agents during next two
months, said Walter Kaufmann, Heinrich-Boll-Foundation South Caucasus
Regional Office Director.

The state of emergency will actually deprive the opposition candidates
of the chance of nomination, according to him.

"The dispersal of the demonstration in Tbilisi reminded the events
of April 9, 1989 when the Soviet Army broke up the rally with tear
gas. This fact irritates the Georgian society," he noted.

"I suppose, West is interested in a sustainable Georgia. However,
proclamation of emergency rule inflicted on Georgia’s image a severe
damage that won’t be forgotten soon," he said, Deutsche Welle reports.
