ARMENIAN FEST IN CRANSTON

Join the Armenian celebration. Armenian ancestry is not required.
The Armenian Fest is this weekend at Rhodes-on-the-Pawtuxet, 60 Rhodes
Place, Cranston. There will be Armenian pastries, kebab and kufta
(think spicy meatballs mixed with rice or bulgur). There will also
be live Armenian music, and an Armenian school dance group.
The event, which is sponsored by the St. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic
Church in Providence, is Saturday, noon to 10 p.m., and Sunday, noon
to 8 p.m. There will be hourly raffles and a silent auction. Admission
is free.
