BAKU: About 550 Guests From 30 Countries Take Part At 9th Turk State

ABOUT 550 GUESTS FROM 30 COUNTRIES TAKE PART AT 9TH TURK STATES’ MEETING

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr.S.Ilhamgizi / The 9th friendship,
brotherhood and cooperation of Turk states’ meeting will be held in
Baku, Azerbaijan on 17, 18 and 19 November. About 550 guests from 30
countries will attend at the meeting. Nazim Ibrahimov, the chairman
of the State Committee on Work with Azerbaijanis Residing Abroad,
said during the press-conference on 13 November.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Turkish Prime Minister, Rajap
Tayip Erdogan, ex-president of Turkey Suleyman Damiral, as well as high
ranking representatives of Turk states will take part at the meeting.

The agenda includes discussions of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict
over Nagorno-Karabakh, Cyprus conflict, state of Turkish language
nations in Iraq and Afghanistan. The six commissions will be operating
within the framework of the meeting.

Attending the meeting with representatives of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan,
Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Mongolia, Turkey and Azerbaijan,
as well as Altai, Bashkiria, Chuvash, Dagestan, Tatarstan, Rumania,
Bulgaria, Kosovo and many others.

The Azerbaijani Presidential Fund allocated AZN 1mln to implement
the 9th meeting.

The meeting has been held since 1993. The previous ten meetings were
held in Turkey.
