Another train with military equipment and other property of Russia’s
12th Military Base in Batumi, Georgia, has left for Russia, Col. Igor
Konashenkov, an aide to the Russian Army Commander-in-chief, told
Interfax-AVN on Wednesday.

"The train left for Russia on Thursday morning. It will take to Russia
12 vehicles and 55 tons of property," Konashenkov said.

The equipment has been fully inspected by Georgians, he said.

"It is the last train to leave Georgia for Russia. But another one
will leave Batumi in mid-November for Russia’s 102nd Military Base in
Gyumri (Armenia)." "Thus, all military equipment and property of the
Russian military bases will have been taken out of Georgia," he said.

In 2007, over 500 pieces of military equipment (about 350 trucks and
over 150 armored vehicles), as well as nearly 2,000 tons of property
were taken to Russia from the Russian military bases in Georgia,
Konashenkov said.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
