LEGAL LIABILITY ENVISAGED FOR VIOLATION OF LAWS REGULATING HEALTHCARE SPHERE

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 13, NOYAN TAPAN. On November 13, the RA National
Assembly adopted a number of laws and legislative packages, according
to which amendments and addenda are made to a number of laws in force.

According to amendments and addenda adopted in the first reading to
the RA Code of Administrative Offences, legal liability is envisaged
for violating a number of provisions regulating healthcare sphere. In
particular, fines in various amounts are envisaged for violating
the rules of implementing medical aid and service, preservation of
man’s reproduction health, transplantation of organs or tissues,
as well as requirements put forward to advertisement of medicines,
medical equipment, and medical methods.

According to the package of addenda adopted in the second reading
and completely to the law On Currency Regulation and Currency Control
and to a number of laws, it is envisaged that in contracts envisaging
non-cash payments and made in the written form prices can be mentioned
in foreign currency if those contracts were made between a resident and
non-resident being a juridical person or an individual entrepreneur.
