Yerevan, November 14 /Mediamax/. Armenian President Robert Kocharian
stated in Yerevan today that the tax bodies hold consistent policy
as concerning all domestic entrepreneurs.
Mediamax reports that the Armenian President said this, commenting
on the tax checks in companies, which enter the SIL Group Holding,
belonging to the Sukiasian family.
Armenian President stated that "at the end of the year, the list of
largest tax-payers will be published, and you will see to what extent
even the MPs, who are well-known for their entrepreneurship activities,
increased their tax payments".
"There are people, who understand that the state keeps to an
anti-corruption policy and is consistent in its actions, and there
are also people, who do not want to reduce the shadow part of their
business, try to politicize the issues, make a fuss and go into
hysteric only not to transfer more taxes to the budget. I believe that
rich people, who talk about social equality, should have conscience
and provide financial means for the state from their incomes for the
solution of social problems. This hysteric will not benefit them,
and a conscientious tax-payer will always be respected in Armenia",
the President stated.
