By the decision of Tbilisi City Court the validity of "Imedi" TV
Company’s broadcasting license is terminated, the property of the
company is under arrest, the doors are closed and sealed.

The appeal was presented by the Georgia’s Chief Prosecutor’s Office
arguing that calls for throwing down the authorities were broadcasted
on the TV. On 7 November the TV Channel aired Badri Patarkatsishvili’s
statement by which he expressed his willingness to finance the
opposition’s activities.

Special detachments intruded into the premises of the TV Company,
beat the guards, frightened the staff and smashed to smithereens the
property of the TV Company.

Before shutting down, "Imedi" TV broadcasted the gatherings,
speeches, statements of the Georgian opposition and their clashes
with law-keeping bodies for 5 days.
