Baku expects assistance from Moscow in influencing Yerevan free
occupied Azeri territories, Azeri Prime Minister Artur Rasizade said at
a meeting with Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov on Wednesday.
"We would like Russia to use its influence on Armenia and force it
to free the Azeri territories," a spokesman for the Azeri Cabinet
quoted Rasizade as saying at the meeting.
"We support a peaceful resolution of the conflict, but, given Armenia’s
unconstructive position, we have no choice but look for other ways
to free our lands," Rasizade said, adding that the Azeri military
industry should be developing to this end.
