ArmInfo. International Working Group (IWG) on search of missing and
refugees and release of war prisoners of the Karabakh conflict is
forced to cease the programme because of financing absence, Armenian
coordinator of the IWG Karine Minasyan told ArmInfo correspondent.
She also added that it is already for a year that there is no financing
source. ‘For this reason, we cannot implement the programmes held
earlier. We are working only because of kind will’, – Karine Minasyan
said and added that a one-time financing is not a systematic work and
cannot have effect, moreover it may even have a negative effect, as a
man hopes to be helped but he is disappointed. Certainly, the
systematic and long-term work should be held. Only in this case one may
rely on a specific final result, she emphasized. The Armenian
coordinator also said that the IWG will continue searching for the
financing source to continue the work started.
