OSCE MINISTERIAL COUNCIL APPROVES THE READINESS OF ARMENIA AND AZERBAIJAN TO CONTINUE THE TALKS

The OSCE Mistrial Council "notes with appreciation that Armenia and
Azerbaijan agreed to continue the negotiations on the Karabakh conflict
settlement in the coming election year," reads the statement adopted
during the OSCE Ministerial Council in Madrid.
"We support the mediating efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group and the
elaboration of basic principles of the peace treaty jointly with
the parties. We do call on both sides to settle controversy, approve
the common concept and take up elaborating of a universal peaceful
agreement," the document says.
