OSCE PRESIDENCY 2008 ASSUMES FINLAND, GREECE – 2009

Migel Anchel Moratinos, Foreign Affairs Minister of Spain announced the
list of the countries which will assume the presidency of OSCE in 2008,
2009, 2010 and 2011. So, next year Finland assumes OSCE presidency,
then Greece in 2009, Kazakhstan in 2010, and Lithuania in 2011.

A. Moratinos when talking about OSCE activities, mentioned its
mission in Middle Asia, Southern Caucasus, and Balkan States. As for
NK question, he was grateful to the foreign ministers of Armenia and
Azerbaijan, as well as OSCE Minsk group for active collaborations.

Then summarizing his speech OSCE ex-president said "We reached success
in some projects connected with ecology, humanitarian questions
and struggle against terrorism. Unfortunately we did not manage to
get political consensus in some questions, but it is not for the
same time."
