"There are laws on alien religious organizations in the republic but
they are not regulated which may cause destruction of families and
mental illness," Priest Ter Hakob Khachatryan told a press service
today, also saying that there are no laws regulating religious sects
in our republic.

In the words of the priest, in other European countries, particularly
in France, religious organizations are sentenced to 5 years of
imprisonment in case they cause spiritual dependence among their
followers. "If we have no religious centers and we do not qualify
which sects are dangerous, how can we register them?" Ter Hakob raised
his concern.
