Armenia secret services believe foreign spies use Internet

YEREVAN, December 5 (Itar-Tass) – The Armenian National Security
Service warned that foreign secret services use the virus software to
collect the information via the Internet.
The Armenian National Security Service said in the Wednesday
statement that people and organizations, including state-run
organisations in Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh have recently received
various e-mail messages `through which viruses may penetrate in the
computer.’ `If such a file is opened a virus program is downloaded
automatically to redirect all codes, passwords and the information
from this computer to the certain address,’ the statement runs.
The Armenian security service noted that in some cases the country’s
security officers `tracked down the e-mail addresses to which the all
information was redirected.’ `The analysis of these files gives
grounds to assume that foreign secret services are involved in these
criminal actions,’ the statement said.
The Armenian security service urged Internet and e-mail users `to be
more vigilant, attentive and do not ignore the rules of dealing with
the virus software.’
