Russia leading among Armenia’s foreign trade partners – Lavrov
Russia invests around $800 million into the Armenian economy, Russian
Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"We invest about $800 million in Armenia and there is a reason to
believe this figure might rise significantly in the next few years,"
he said at a press conference in Moscow on Wednesday after a meeting
with his Armenian counterpart Vardan Oskanian
Bilateral trade between Russia and Armenia is growing, with Russia
leading among Yerevan’s foreign trade partners, Lavrov said
Hopefully, the two countries will step up further their relations,
the Russian foreign minister said.
"We have confirmed our commitment towards more intensive cooperation
both during and after the presidential campaigns in the two
countries," Lavrov said.
