GUAM DOCUMENT TO BE SUBMITTED TO UN IS OF NO THREAT

"The issue of "frozen conflicts" has been in U.N. agenda since last
year session and since it is in the agenda the initiators may submit
a draft resolution any time and there are no impediments for that,"
Vladimir Karapetyan, Armenian foreign ministry public relations
department head, said speaking about the document that GUAM (Georgia,
Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Moldova) is going to submit to U.N.
"When the resolution is in our hands, we will proceed with work on
it. We will submit our dispositions, approaches and additions. We
see no threat in this issue as of the current moment," he said.
According to Trend Agency, such a resolution is already submitted to
UN. GUAM countries appeal to U.N. to restore the territorial integrity
of USSR republic where there are conflicts.
GUAM countries mention in the resolution that prolonged conflicted
threaten the regional peace and stability and appeal countries and
international organization to support the process of settlement of
the conflicts.
