According to the Electoral Code, the candidates registered by the

pre-electoral funds. And candidates can form pre-electoral funds
until the registration, which will last from December 31 until January
20, 2008.
It should be mentioned that the maximum size of the pre-electoral fund
of the candidate running for presidency is defined 70 million drams
(approximately 233.3 thousand U.S. dollars). The fund is formed by
the own means of the candidate, 10 million drams at maximum, by the
party, which has nominated the candidate, 30 million drams at maximum,
and by the voluntary payments of physical and juridical persons,
correspondingly, 200 thousand and 500 thousand drams at maximum.
